Hello... A few days ago it was feeling like fall, so here is fall card. Pretty simple. I colored the image J3854 Scarecrow Stamp and the X3853 Pumpkin Stamp with Copic markers. The pumpkin was cut out and popped with dimentionals. Happy Saturday!

Hello... Happy Saturday! Well Thanksgiving is past and most of the yummy turkey leftovers should be almost gone. Let's give thanks to the peeps that prepared our meals. We ate lunch at hubby's parents and dinner at my parents. We were very fortunate to have two home-cooked meals in one day, and I might add that they were both awesome. Hello peeps! The weather has been cooler this week, but is expected to warm up this weekend. Today I'm showing a cute Halloween stamp. This stamp, Three Jack O Lanterns F3503a, can be used for making a candy bar wrapper. The first card here I watercolored in the image with SU inks. The second one in the next post, I colored in with Copic markers. For the colors, I used a color challenge from Just For Fun Friday. I'm also entering these into a StampTv challenge.

This month the design team was having a challenge to make a card with our favorite stamp, well it is hard to pick from so many wonderful stamps. I choose the stamp called Catch'n Love. I really love this stamp. I bought it awhile ago and lost it but just found it the other day. I drew in the sidewalk and added grass.

Last week my daughter was in her 3rd grade Invention Fair. After months of planning and making her project, she won! She and 3 other 3rd graders were choosen and received the Judges Award! Her creation is the AGDCS... American Girl Doll Clothes Sorter. It was a very happy moment when her name was called when she won. She worked hard on designing and making her project. I helped with the sewing and cutting. She even made the pink bias tape with a burn on her arm from the iron. She learned a lot from this project.

Hello everyone! Happy Saturday, I'm so excited to show you the Ornament #2 F-IR216 Iris Stamp from Stamp N Plus Scrap N. I stamped it with Black Memento Ink. I cut along the lines of the inside of the ornament with a craft knife. I then iris folded with plain computer paper. When I has done with the Iris Folding, I put two-way glue unto the folded section and added SU Dazzling Diamond glitter. You can't see from the picture here but I went over the two stars and the ribbon with a Glitter Gelly Roll pen.

Hello! Happy Easter! I haven't posted in a whole week. I have been busy working with my daughter on her invention project for school. She is making a American Girl Doll accessories-clothes holder. Yesterday we made the bias tape for it. We made 26 1/2 yards of bias tape. Making that tape sure brings back memories from when I made it in high school. Back in my high school days, we cut our fabric with scissors, now we have awesome rotary cutters and a mat. Also folding bias tape is so easy now, there is a new tool that you put the fabric in and pull and iron.
Last month at Ladies Aide at church, I was asked to make up card kits for the ladies to make cards for the Shut-inns. Here is one of the cards we made. The stamp set is Spring Florals from Gina K Designs. When I bought this stamp set, I got a card kit with it, which was designed by Jessica Fick. I used Jessica Fick's card kit ideas to make my own, with a little different paper and colors but almost the same. Most of my colors are Stampin Up. The textured paper is made with the Cuttlebug Textile Emboss Folder. The ladies at church were very impressed with making this card. Some of the ladies have never made a homemade card before. The die cut shape is Spellbinders Labels Four.

Hello! When I made this card, I thought this would make a great card to give to a male. It probably would be more beautiful colored in, but this was made for the Black and White challenge. Hello! Yesterday was such a wonderful day. First day we were able to go outside without coats on. Most of the snow has melted and the sun was shining brightly. The temperature was around 65 degrees but a little windy. The kids got out their bikes and had a ton of fun outside. After hubby got home from work, we went over to a playground and let them have more fun.

Last week while visiting StampTV, I saw an interesting challenge. The challenge was the shaving cream technique. While I have seen this technique before, I myself have never tried it till the other day. I made about a dozen pieces of paper with this technique. The first few were the best since the more made, the more the colors got mixed up. Here is one of the 6 cards I made this week, with this one being my favorite one. It just looks so springy and kinda looks like some of the speciality Easter dyed eggs.
The stamp set I used is Hope is Faith by Gina K Designs. Each of the next 5 days I will have the other cards I created with this shaving cream technique.

Hello stampers! We are on our second day of vacation. Yesterday we went Mall shopping and out to dinner. Today we are going swimming and relaxing. Today I'm show casing a birthday card I made for a special person. I'm sending it out today. The stamps are Peter Pup from Stamp N Plus Scrap N. Peter Pup is a stamp that anyone would surely love to have on their card. The background is the new SU emboss folder dots and the red punched area is the new SU Scalloped Trim punch. I added yellow stickles to the candle flame to bling it up. The image is colored in with Copic Markers. I tried coloring Peter Pup in with the brushed method to make him look like he has fur.

Hello stampers... Today's card I stamped with a Stamp N Plus stamp called Beautiful Flowers. I mixed CHALK-AH-LOT with Buzz N Magic Paint and painted on the image with a little brush. Buzz N Magic Paint is an awesome product because it has shimmers mixed in with it. Hello... This week I have a few challenge card I made. This one is a shimmery one made with a fish stamp. First i stamped the fish and then I Versamarked it and then cottonballed it with CHALK-AH-Lot. The background is run through the Cuttlebug with the Swirls folder and then Versamarked, then cottonballed with the CHALK-AH-LOT Stardust. The sentiment is computer generated. The fishy bubbles are the plastic round thingys that you can find at Michaels on the flower area.

Hello! Welcome back to day 2 of my Easter Chick challenge. For this card I used some retired SU DP mounted on SU Kraft cardstock.
This is made with the same Easter Chick stamp as yesterday. Many people probably don't know that Iris Folding stamps exist. The stamp has all the lines to where you place the paper. Maybe I should make a tutorial on how these stamps work. What do you think? If I get enough response, then maybe I can make a tutorial.

Hello! The Magic Design team was having a challenge to make three Easter Chick cards. Here is one of them, I'll be showing the rest in the next coming days. I used the SU Petals-A-Plenty emboss folder with yellow paper. I then took a sanding block and sanded the embossed flowers and now they are white. The Iris Folding is done in foiled tissue paper.

Hello! I was at SCS today and someone was asking about how to make their own blog and how to get a template and header. Well, trying to be the helpful peep that I am, I went to check on my blog to get the needed info from where my template came from. So I went over to mama-free-templates to get the info. When I got there, there was a posting that said she was done with the free templates and whatever you had previously downloaded would not exist soon. AHHH, I had just re-done up my blog about a month ago. So today I had to fix the template and header. I'm not a very computer orientated person, but I managed not to wipe out my blog, LOL.

So if you got your blog template over at template-mama-freebloggertemplates.blogspot.com , you better look around for a new one soon.

Hello! It's one of those cold days again. The blizzard is gone and the kids are back in school. The storm left us with about 13 inches of snow! Here is a cute Christmas card with liquid applique. I love using liquid applique. This card is similar to a card I made a few days ago with the same layout. On this card I used a brick wall stamp from Hanna Stamps and Chalk-Ah-Lot from Stamp N Plus Scrap N. The Peter Pup stamp is from Stamp N Plus Scrap N too.

Hello... Last light we got a snow blizzard that moved in so I thought this was a good card to post today. My daughter was suppose to go horseback riding for Brownies but with the blizzard moving in, it was post-poned for a later time. Oh and there is no school today either, so I will have to think of some fun things to do today. Back to the card... I used a challenge over at StampTV to use liquid applique. This is my second card I made with liquid applique.

Furry Christmas with liquid applique...

Hello! Today I made a challenge card for Gina K's STVTC42 over at Stamptv. The challenge was to use liquid applique. I haven't ever tried using liquid applique before but I had one in my stash of goodie here. So I finally tried out the technique, and it was so fun watching the liquid applique puff up. I used a stamp from Stamp N Plus Scrap N, Peter Pup.

Hello! Welcome back... Today I have a new card to show you. It's hot off the press. It's made with a brand new Peter Pup stamp from Stamp N Plus Scrap N and it's not even available yet online. The trim on Peter's hat and the stocking have Sukura Clear Star on them and they are very glittery. I used a sketch challenge from the Gina K Designs new release over at SCS.

Hello...How was your Thanksgiving? Mine was great... lots of yummy food and lots of company! My mom made the meal for the 19 1/2 of us. My mom goes way out of her way to make all the fixings for Thanksgiving. The kids had 5 whole days off and now they are in bed and heading back to school tomorrow. I've been busy making Design Team cards this weekend, of course I spent lots of wonderful time with the kids too! Here is one of the cards. You can find the stamp here.
