Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all!!! Today my six year old told me he was thankful for his family. Nothing to post today other than that. We'll be going to two places today. First to my DH's families house for lunch at 11:00 a.m. and then to the deer cabin for supper at 3:00 p.m. with my family. Tomorrow is a big shopping day and DH has off this week, so we will be out there in all the shopping mess. The secret from the last post still remains a secret...LOL...
Have a wonderful Holiday!

Welcome Christmas!

Hello and welcome! Christmas will soon be here and it is past time to start in on making our Christmas cards. I'm not one that makes a bunch of Christmas cards but I do like to make a few just to get in the Christmas spirit. For my Christmas cards that I send out, I dress my kiddos up and take a bunch of pictures and have them made into cards at a Picture Studio. Here is a fun card that I made up today. It is an Iris Folding Stamp from Stamp Affairs, Stamp N Plus Scrap N: Iris Folding Christmas Ornament. The tree branch is made with the MS branch punch. The sentiment is SU: Heard From The Heart. The designer paper is holographic Christmas wrapping paper from Target. The ornament is embossed with SU Gold emboss powder. Thanks for looking and have a great week! P.S. come back soon I have a secret to tell you!

Chocolate cupcakes anyone?

Hello! Here is a card I made today. I've been planning it all week. It's a card for a challenge at Hanna Stamps by a blogging friend Janette. I used some new designer paper from Basicgrey...Sultry. I think that it is awesome paper and so yummy. I need to get more packs. All the stamps used are from Hanna Stamps.
Thanks for popping in and see you soon!

Sleepover Party.

My daughter had her best friend Emily over for a sleepover party. They played outside first for awhile with my son and the neighbor boy Seth. Then my DH got home from work and we had pizza, torilla chips with cheese sauce, and rootbeer. Then they played inside and settled down to the movie Kung Fu Panda. They were up before me asking about breakfast. I assisted them in the making of sausage links and scrambled eggs with cheese on top. I have been teaching my daughter to cook, of course I'm by her side the whole time. They went and watched parts of Kung Fu Panda again and they each made a card. They then went ouside to play. The moose stamp is from Hanna Stamps, the sentiment is from Stamp N Plus Scrap N, and the heart is a G studio from M's.
Have a nice day!

Hip Hop Hangover!

Hip Hop Hangover...
Yes that is what it is...I was there at the Unity Stamp Company Hip Hop on SCS most of the day. I made one card for the one layer challenge. I chatted with a bunch of people, a good time is always had by all that attend. Did I win anything? Nope. Haven't had any luck there for like three weeks. Did I order? Yes for sure...who wouldn't with them awesome deals yesterday. Will I be there next week? Yes...I'll be there again next week so hopefully I'll see you then...Hip Hop...
Here is my one layer card. A simple little Hello. Unity's Tiny Trinity kit and SU Old Olive. Here is a card I made for my former pastor that moved to be closer to his family. He sent us a card for when my grandama passed away so I'm sending one to him. The tree is from Unity's Growing In Unity kit. What a great kit that is! The bird and heart are from Unity's So & So Loves. The sentiment is SU Heard from the Heart.

I made this card for a challenge at SCS this week...Make a medallion with a corner punch...how cool is that! Here is the tutorial for the medallion. Stamped it out with Unity's Bitty Christmas Tags.
Thanks for stopping by and have a Happy Hip Hop Hangover Day!
