Happy Easter!
Hello! Happy Easter! I haven't posted in a whole week. I have been busy working with my daughter on her invention project for school. She is making a American Girl Doll accessories-clothes holder. Yesterday we made the bias tape for it. We made 26 1/2 yards of bias tape. Making that tape sure brings back memories from when I made it in high school. Back in my high school days, we cut our fabric with scissors, now we have awesome rotary cutters and a mat. Also folding bias tape is so easy now, there is a new tool that you put the fabric in and pull and iron.
Last month at Ladies Aide at church, I was asked to make up card kits for the ladies to make cards for the Shut-inns. Here is one of the cards we made. The stamp set is Spring Florals from Gina K Designs. When I bought this stamp set, I got a card kit with it, which was designed by Jessica Fick. I used Jessica Fick's card kit ideas to make my own, with a little different paper and colors but almost the same. Most of my colors are Stampin Up. The textured paper is made with the Cuttlebug Textile Emboss Folder. The ladies at church were very impressed with making this card. Some of the ladies have never made a homemade card before. The die cut shape is Spellbinders Labels Four.

Easter Blessings!
Hello! Easter is right around the corner! I don't make too many Easter cards. The background on this one is The Cuttlebug Swirls embossing folder. The image J1519 Easter Blessing can be found at Stamp N Plus Scrap N. It's such a pretty image! Maybe when I get done with the Black and White challenge that I have been working on, I can make new cards similar to my Black and White ones but colored in!

Male card!
Hello! When I made this card, I thought this would make a great card to give to a male. It probably would be more beautiful colored in, but this was made for the Black and White challenge. I used the Cuttlebug Emboss folders distressed stripes and fancy tags. Stamped images are from Stamp N Plus Scrap N.
Keep coming back, only three more Black and White cards to show! I also have some Easter cards to show soon!

Hello! Don't you just love butterflies? If you hadn't noticed, I love butterflies! Both of these butterflies are embossed with black embossing powder. These are nearly the same cards but I changed up the ribbon a little.

Keep coming back everyday for the rest of the Black and White challenge cards. I have four more to show you.

A little more snow!
Hello! A little more snow? Well not on the ground here but on my cards...LOL. This is the same image used as yesterdays post. It's fun changing things up a bit with the same image and a different layout.

Today is actually the first day of Spring but it's a little nippy outside today. Come back tomorrow for a more springy card... black and white of course but springy.
Have a great day!

Lets build a snowman!
Hello... The company that I design cards for, Stamp N Plus Scrap N, was having a challenge for its DT. The challenge was to make three Black and White cards. I made 12 cards for this challenge. This is one of them. A few weeks ago I posted one of this same image. I really love this image.
Come back tomorrow to see more of the other 10 cards...
We are having family movie night tonight. Hubby bought the movie Astro Boy and is planning to surprise the kids with it and some candy.

Spring is in the air...
Hello! Yesterday was such a wonderful day. First day we were able to go outside without coats on. Most of the snow has melted and the sun was shining brightly. The temperature was around 65 degrees but a little windy. The kids got out their bikes and had a ton of fun outside. After hubby got home from work, we went over to a playground and let them have more fun.
Here is another shaving cream card, number 4. All stamps Gina K Designs. It's just perfect for a spring day.

Another Hope is Faith
Hello! A few days ago I made up a bunch of cards with the shaving cream technique from a challenge over at StampTV. This card was my second one. The first one from my last post won in the random drawing on Friday.
The butterfly on this one is from Stamp N Plus Scrap N J838.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend... Smiles :)

Hope is faith...
Last week while visiting StampTV, I saw an interesting challenge. The challenge was the shaving cream technique. While I have seen this technique before, I myself have never tried it till the other day. I made about a dozen pieces of paper with this technique. The first few were the best since the more made, the more the colors got mixed up. Here is one of the 6 cards I made this week, with this one being my favorite one. It just looks so springy and kinda looks like some of the speciality Easter dyed eggs.
The stamp set I used is Hope is Faith by Gina K Designs. Each of the next 5 days I will have the other cards I created with this shaving cream technique.

Black and white winter fun...
Hello! Just the other day I was going through some stamps that I had picked up last summer at a Garage sale. Well, little did I know at that time, that one of the stamps in that pack is made by the company that I design cards for. I remember seeing this stamp on a card over at SCS and thought, this is an awesome stamp. Well a few days ago I was looking at the disk with the stamps that Stamp N Plus Scrap N gave me, and there it was... So if you are looking for this stamp, you may have to ask about it if it's not in their store.

Smiles... :)
