Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas to one and to all! Sorry about not posting much lately, just been to busy with cleaning house and preparing for the Christmas party for my side. DH's side had their party last Saturday. We had a great time with lots of yummy food and lots of awesome presents. The kids already have their gifts from Santa opened this morning. We as the family got the Wii game system and the Wii Fit board plus a few more games. We'll probably be hooking up the Wii system in a few days. DH had to work today from 9 am to 5:30 so our party won't start till 6:00 pm. DH also has to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. DH will be off on Monday so we will probably be going to a movie and a dinner. I'm making a Hillshire whole ham today. I'm slicing it up and layering it with pineapple and brown sugar and putting it in 2 crockpots, my mom made it this way for Thanksgiving and it was yummy. I have to get busy, so have a great day. See you again soon. :)

BLOG CANDY!...and my secret is released...

Hello and welcome old friends and new friends and anyone in between... The secret is...I have been asked by the owner LuAnn of "Stamp N Plus Scrap N" to be on her Design Team. I of course said that I would be honored to be on her team. LuAnn owns a local stamping scraping store in my home town area and she makes high quality red rubber stamps. All the stamps come mounted on wood and most are available as unmounted. The card that a made here is stamped with a stamp from the "Stamp N Plus Scrap N" Company and it is called Santa with Candycane. It's a really fun and easy image to color. The background paper here is Memory Box DP. Now unto the BLOG CANDY... In honor of being on a design team, I am giving out one of these unmounted red rubber stamps as blog candy. I somehow ended up owning two of these Santa with Candycane unmounted red rubber stamps...I guess I liked it so much and bought two at different times. So you ask... What do I have to do to win this stamp? Just leave me a comment here and I will put all the names in a hat and have my kiddos pick one on Sunday night, December 7. I'm leaving this candy open for USA and Canada people. I'll have the winner posted on Monday evening. You must come back to see if you won so I can send it out to you...

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Sleepover Party.

My daughter had her best friend Emily over for a sleepover party. They played outside first for awhile with my son and the neighbor boy Seth. Then my DH got home from work and we had pizza, torilla chips with cheese sauce, and rootbeer. Then they played inside and settled down to the movie Kung Fu Panda. They were up before me asking about breakfast. I assisted them in the making of sausage links and scrambled eggs with cheese on top. I have been teaching my daughter to cook, of course I'm by her side the whole time. They went and watched parts of Kung Fu Panda again and they each made a card. They then went ouside to play. The moose stamp is from Hanna Stamps, the sentiment is from Stamp N Plus Scrap N, and the heart is a G studio from M's.
Have a nice day!

A few Iris folding Holiday Cards.

Hello everyone!

Here are a couple of Holiday cards I made with a Iris Folding stamp from Stamp Affair...Stamp N Plus Scrap N: Snowman stamp. It's a very fun project and not very hard to do at all. You stamp out the image, the image has the iris folding on it already and then you cut out the iris folding section with a cutting tool. Tape it to the image and start layering the pieces of paper on...The sentiment is from Hanna Stamps.

Thanks for stopping by...

Hello everyone!

Sorry I've been MIA for awhile but I have had alot of issues like a grandma funeral and some teeth problems...Anyways, Halloween is fast approaching and will be here soon. Here is a card my 7 year old daughter made with a stamp I won as blog candy. She is giving this to her sub teacher for Halloween. Her permanent 2nd grade teacher has been on maternity leave all of this school year and is coming back on Halloween. She also made a sucker with a tissue over it and it looks like a ghost...She made this card all by herself with her own supplies. The background is colored in with black chalk. Thanks for looking and have a nice day....~Kathy~...

Hello!

Hello everyone...I hope you had a great weekend. Yesterday was my moms birthday and it was a total surprise. Yesterday I found a coupon for Michaels. It's for 40% off the regular price of your whole purchase. It was a mistake by the company because it was to say 20% off the whole regular purchase. Michaels changed it after the fact that lots of people had already gotten it. Here is where to find the coupon... http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c340/dottecom/Forum%20Chatter/330929741.jpg So they have to honor it...Make sure though if you use this coupon, give it to them first because they manually ring up every item or it will only take off 40% off one item. Another beautiful day here again. I hope you have a nice day.

Adding a signature line...

Hello. I don't know if you have this problem....but everytime I add my signature at the bottom of my post, I have to go and look it up and copy it and paste it everytime. Well I got tired of doing that, so I stopped placing it there and just typed it in. Today I found out how to automatically add it in everytime. I made up my signature at http://www.livesignature.com/. When I log into blogger, I see these options: new post, edit posts, settings, layout, view blog. If you are already logged in but viewing your blog, click customize in the upper right hand corner. Then when I click on settings, the new screen has three big tabs with a bunch of smaller tabs listed underneath going across the screen. Formatting is the 3rd one from the left. So when I start a new post, the signature is right there at the beginning, and I just click in front of it and it follows along as I type. I hope this helps. It sure is alot easier and saves alot of times.
Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day!!!
